•5/1/13, from S.R.:   I really appreciate the amazing job Martinelli's did with catering my wedding on April 27, 2013. It was outdoors and thus not an easy place to cook. They put on a show with their cooking throwing pasta in the air and seemed to genuinely enjoy themselves! And they were so personable. We had many many compliments on how good the food was and people went back for more! I'd recommend Martinelli's for catering any event you have.

•3/26/13, from Kristi:   With new restaurants always coming into town, it is nice to know that I can still go the only place in town where the service is always excellent, the food is wonderful, and the dining experience is impressive for even the most special of your guests. Martinelli's is the restaurant we always rely on the take company "out for dinner", because we know that your staff - from the waiters, to the kitchen staff, to the bus boys will bring a smile and do an outstanding job!

•2/17/13, from Karilea:   Once again we enjoyed a memorable evening at Martinellis over fine beverages and some awesome food! This time we were there in advance of seeing Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers at the Steiffel Theater. As people came and went, a couple was seated close by us and it was obvious it was there first time at the Restaurant. By the end of their dining experience, it was also obvious they would be back - they live in Topeka, so it is a bit of a drive, but it was also going to be their first experience across the street, as well. We ran into them after the show, and their smiles were huge. Salina has two gems on the corner of Santa Fe and Walnut!

•8/10/12, from Sue : Hi-Just wanted to let you know what an awesome job your staff did last Thursday for our wedding rehearsal dinner.  The young ladies who worked in our area did an excellent job, we had quite a large and demanding crowd and they handled everything with poise and professional and the food was awesome.  We received so many compliments on the food and service and I wanted to pass it on to everyone who worked that evening to make our dinner so enjoyable!  I've always loved Martinelli's, but now I'm happy to say you will have some new customers as a result of our dinner.  As always, the chopped salad was a huge hit, but the pasta was great too!  Thanks again for all the hard work!

•7/2/11, from someone in Olathe, Kansas : I travel to Salina once a month for a few days at a time. Found Martinelli's a few years ago and it is now a destination when I'm there. From Kansas City (Olathe) but nothing there like this! GREAT food, GREAT people, and VERY reasonably priced. An Italian co-worker that travels to Salina with me sometimes and tried Martinellis on my suggestion said "That's how Grandma used to cook!" Pretty good recommendation!

•7/2/11, from Michelle : My boyfriend was doing military training in Salina for a month. I came and stayed with him for a couple of weeks during the month. I found Martinellis in the Salina FYI magazine and decided to try it out. When we went they were on a wait so we decided to eat at the bar. The owner and another young lady waited on us. They were both warm and friendly. The food is amazing. It is the best pizza I have ever had. I really wish we had this is Kansas City. It would go over very well there. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

•7/1/11, from Teresa : Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our first visit to Martinellis. The reservation was a MUST, it was very busy and we were seated right away. Our waitress, Danielle, was very talkative and upbeat and we enjoyed her personality very much. We talked to her about how busy it was and she mentioned it was always busy but that it was busier because of the Steve Martin event at the Stieffel Theatre. I mentioned that's where we were going and she shared with us that she was envious because she really wanted to go. She was just a really great part of our visit. The food was also very, very good. We were amazed at how all the staff were just buzzing around like crazy doing their assigned duties and even though they were very busy they all seemed to be very engaged with the customers. We plan on keeping an eye on the upcoming events at the Stieffel and plan on making this a trip we try to do at least a couple of times a year (or more) and Martinellis will be our place of choice for our dinner on those trips. Thanks again for taking care of our reservation.

•5/26/11, from Sara : We were planning a 'mini vacation' and found your site while researching Salina. We went with our kids and LOVED IT! The food is great and 'family friendly' priced. Now, you are the 'must visit' place when we make it back to town!
